Gstaad prepares for Hublot Polo Gold Cup.

For the first time in its 20 year history, a Chinese team will be taking part at the Hublot Polo Gold Cup which takes place in Switzerland from August 18-21.
Team China will be skippered by Shilai Liu who will be leading the team against Argentina and two Swiss outfits (Polo Friends and Team Banque Eric Sturdza).
Liu goes into the competition in Gstaad with plenty of experience and is also the owner of one of the largest polo clubs in Beijing.
Every year the Hublot Polo Gold Cup attracts over 6000 visitors and here below is the schedule which includes the parade from the players as well as evening gala:
Thursday 18 August – 11.00 official opening. 13.30 qualification match.
Friday 19 August – 16.00 players parade in the city of Gstaad.
Saturday  20 August – 11.00 opening of the arena. 13.30 semi-finals.
Sunday 21 August – 11.00 opening of the arena. 13.30 final match and awards ceremony.
