
Helsinki Horse Show 2015: results round-up ahead of today’s 5-star trials.

Let’s round-up now the latest results and Equestrian World from the opening days of the Helsinki Horse Show 2015.
Starting with the young horses category, Chica Fino (Calido I x Levisto), a 7 year-old Hannover sorrel, has been awarded the Best Young Horse title for the 2015 edition of the Finnish event.
Ridden by Marina Ehrnrooth, Chica Fino charmed the panel for its excellent balance, technique and overall jumping abilities which can only keep getting better.
The runner-up in this award was the 6 year-old gelding Energy MH, who won the 5 year-old category last year, and has shown marked improvement with its focus and discipline.
Third place went to the 5 year-old gelding Tay Malaysia (Singapore x Nolisco), impressing with its natural balance.
According to Finnish horsewoman Nina Fagerstrom, the mount showed a maturity beyond its years and transmits a sense and feeling of confidence to the rider.
Looking ahead, there are three 5-star trials in the afternoon: a 1.40m competition over two rounds, a time trial over 1.45m and a competition over 1.40m.
