Zangersheide 4

Zangersheide will open its doors this weekend for an assessment of aspiring stallions to the prestigious studbook. The lucky ones that are then approved will be available as of this year.
To take part, horses must have been born in 2013 or earlier (from the age of 3 upwards), registered with a studbook recognised by WBFSH and have a pedigree of at least four generations.
Today, all candidates will have the initial assessment while tomorrow the three year-olds will be put to the test in the free-jump.
The four years-olds meanwhile will have an additional riding evaluation and on an established course. Sunday will also see the five year-old category tested on an established course.
A total of 68 stallions are set to strut their stuff including Carolus Z (Cornet du Lys x Calvaro Z) and Idéal de la Loge (Dollar du Mûrier x Joyau d’Or).
