The Ponte Vecchio GP, one of the most historic driving events in the Italian equestrian calendar, is scheduled for today in Florence with a total prize money of 45.100 euros up for grabs. The starting line-up should include 7 pairs with the mare Orleans Om the favourite for the win. The 6 year-old will have to also be aware of the threats of Orsia with Di Stefano and Papandreu led by Bellei. Pancottina Bar should feature after winning an impressive amount of money after a lightning start in last month’s race in Vincennes. Mack and Mirtillo meanwhile won’t be taking part.
