Horseball: Italian youngsters through to the final in France

The European Horseball Championships are nearing to an end with the finals in each category set to take place today.
Of the Azzurri line-ups taking part in St.Lo France for the big event, the best performers have been the Italy U16s who have reached the final.
The Azzurri will meet the hosts in the final after defeating the likes of Great Britain on route to the final showdown.
What’s more, the Italians boast the top-scorer of the U16 category in the form of Lorenzo Agnetti with an impressive 14.
Agnetti and co. will be out to maintain their excellent form and take home the trophy when they take on France in the final at 20.50 today.
In the Ladies category on the other hand, Italy take on GB in a play-off to determine who will end the tournament in fifth place.
In the Pro Elite category it is a similar story with Italy about to go head to head with Portugal in the fifth place play off.
The Azzurri in the Pro Elite category though can take some comfort from having amongst their ranks the top scorer in the form of Alessio Cilli who leads the scoring charts on 10 goals.
