HSJ’s interview with Ramatou Ouedraogo

FEI European Championship Ch/J/YR

After the first day of competition for the Young Riders we met with the talented French rider Ramatou Ouedraogo, that started her championship on a high note with a steady clear round. 

“I am very happy with today’s round, my championship horse GFE Excalibur de la Tour Vidal is in great shape and I hope that we can keep producing good results this weekend for myself but especially the team”.

Ramatou has already proven to be a very consistent rider by delivering several good results as a junior and young rider but also already at a 2/3* level.  Manuel Henry her trainer is the cherry on top of her success since he has been along her side already since she is a kid.

“This is my last year as a young rider, therefore I would like to finish my youth years in the best way possible. Later on I would really like to focus on stepping up the level and start competitively competing at a 3/4 * level and slowly work my way up to the top”.
