Hunt season underway near Novara

The Casema Bellinzago Babini hunt, Novara, hosted the opening event of the spring season 2010.Hounds and horses, with the long winter in their legs and after a brisk preparations, have dealt with their usual vigor the well-known paths which were not in bad condition condition the bad weather.The were twenty-two riders heading out on a brisk moorning, sent off by the official Marchese Litta Modignani with skill by Alessandro Berlingieri with Pietro di Nola as Field Master and Leopoldo Cicogna Mozzoni as H W who guided the back of seven pairs of hounds.The riders enjoyed their ride through the beautiful moors and forest around Novara in what turned ionto a long ride in what could be described as the “gallant style“ covering some obstacles along the way.
