Isabell Werth and Weihegold OLD to compete in the Saab Top 10 final

World Champion Isabell Werth will compete in the Saab Top 10 Dressage final during Sweden International Horse Show in Stockholm. And she will bring her super mare Weihegold OLD.”I’m very happy to come back to Stockholm. Last year’s event was everything that riders and organizers have been talking about and dreaming of for years: A show that delivers top sport to the spectators in an entertaining way, without disregarding the seriousness and the focus on the competition”, she says.And finally the German dressage giants Isabell Werth and Sönke Rothenberger will meet in a Grand Prix Freestyle competition again.When the final at the World Championships in Tryon, USA, was cancelled due to bad weather, the world missed out on the duel everyone had been longing for since the European Championships in Gothenburg 2017. Isabell Werth with Weihegold and Sönke Rothenberger with Cosmo both got over 90 percent in the freestyle at the European Championship and the competition was fierce. Now they meet again in Stockholm in the exclusive competition Saab Top 10 Dressage.“Isabell is the rider everyone wants to beat. And the way she functions under pressure is unique. She will not give anything away for free, that’s for sure“, says Swedish rider Patrik Kittel, who is responsible for the invitations to the competition.Besides Werth and Rothenberger, Patrik Kittel will also be on the startlist of the Saab Top 10 Dressage together with top Swedish rider Therese Nilshagen.
