Isabell Werth wins Neumunster dressage
Isabell Werth has claimed victory in the home arena of Neumunster, Germany and looks in great shape in this season’s World Cup dressage after victories also obtained in Lyon, Stuttgart and Amsterdam.
Her companion in recent performances had been the 12-year-old Weihegold FRH, but in Neumunster she won with the very experienced Don Johnson with a percentage of 82 455, ahead of compatriot Helen Langehanenberg with Damsey FRH (79 150) and third place the Dutch rider Madeleine Witte-Vrees with Cennin (77,765).
Isabell Werth remains firmly in command of the overall standings with 80 points, followed by Australia Kristy Oatley with 55 points and in third place the British rider Carl Hester with 54 points, tied with the Swiss Marcela Krinke Susmelj.
In fifth place is the Irish rider Judy Reynolds with 52 points, in sixth with only one point difference is Madeleine Witte Vrees, seventh German Fabienne Lutkemeier with 41 points.
