Italy beat Ireland at Nations Cup
The Azzurri have jumped their way to first place in Dublin at the eighth leg of the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup for the European Division 1.
Italy, coached by Roberto Arioldi, edged out the hosts Ireland following an excellent display and making the victory even sweeter was the fact that Italy were one of the five nations competing for points for the overall standings.
The only negative note was the retirement of Bruno Chimirri and the selle française stallion Tower Mouche (Diamant de Semilly) in round 1 although the result was discarded by the head coach. Here below is how the Azzurri lined up and fared overall:
ITALY
Pergiorgio Bucci – Casallo Z: 0 / 0
Lorenzo De Luca – Ensor de Litrange Lxii: 0 / 0
Emilio Bicocchi – Ares: 0 / 8
Bruno Chimirri – Tower Mouche: RET
