Italy in FEI Nations Cup™ action in Al Ain

The FEI Nations Cup™ Jumping Series 2017 is set to get underway. There are two major events on the FEI circuit, in the Middle East and in North and Central America & Caribbean group.The CSIO5* will take place at the Ain Equestrian, Shooting & Golf Club in Abu Dhabi from Wednesday, January 15 to 18 with Italy coach Roberto Arioldi selecting Emilio Bicocchi (Ares, Call Me), Michael Cristofoletti (Belony, Accipicchia della Monica), Paolo Paini (Ottava Meraviglia di Ca’ San Giorgio, Clodia Csg), Francesco Turturiello (Quinoa des Pres, Scara Mouche) and Army Corporal Simone Coata (Cannavaro 17, Luce Luce). Team leader for shipment will be Stefano Scaccabarozzi.Azzurri in Nations Cup – The team are in the first division of the FEI Nations Cup™, starting with the CSIO in Lummen in Belgium (23/26 April) and then the big five star event in Rome (24/28 maggio), San Gallo in Switzerland (1/4 June), Rotterdam in Holland (22/25 June), Falsterbo in Sweden (13/16 July) and Dublin, Ireland (9/13 August).These six events will lead to qualification for the finals in Barcelona from 28 September-1 October, with the best four results taken into consideration.Eight nations in total will take part in 2017.
