The Dalla Chiesa Memorial, taking place in San Lazzaro di Savena, gets into full swing today at 14.30 with the “Il Resto del Carlino“ GP with prize money of 20.000 euros.
The director Pier Francesco Bazzocchi has given a preview of the course for the GP which has a rather technical part at the start whereas the central part of the course will test the power of the jumpers. The final section will put precision and control to the test as the hurdles are all very close to each other.
Ahead of the trial, it’s worth pointing out the victory of Mirco Casadei in the big-race on Saturday, showing pace and precision with the 11 year-old Italian bay mare to see off the competition of the other 84 pairs. Alberto Zorzi from the Equestrian Military Centre in Montelibretti was second on Imperial Zig Zag while Natale Chiaudani came in third with Fixdesign Almero.
