Le Siepi di Cervia club opens with four-star event

After the winter break, the Le Siepi di Cervia club is all set to the first big outdoor horse show event of the season from Friday 10 to Sunday, March 12.
The stop in Milano Marittima will take place at a refurnished club and the competitors can count on the experience of the chef de piste Giorgio Bernardi, who will design each course.
Among the competitors known internationally who have confirmed their participation in the competition include: Fernando Lopez Fourcade, Massimiliano Baroni and Valentina Interlenghi.
The competitions will begin on Friday morning with three events for young horses of 4, 5 and 6 years and then nine others through the day. There are 11 on Saturday, the highlight being the 1.40m scheduled at mid-day. The 1.40m Grand Prix over two rounds will take place on Sunday.
And to the delight of the youngsters there will be a categories reserved for  H40 – H60 – H70 and H80.
The Le Siepi  season will continue in March with the National Gold Star on 24, 25 and 26th. Cervia will be at the centre of Italian equestrian events through the summer and onwards with the Italian Championships scheduled for 20, 21, 22 and 23rd of July – while the Italian Pony Championships will take place between June and July.
