LGCT: French 1-2 in Antwerp.

The first European leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour, which took place in Antwerp, has been won by Penelope Leprevost with Flora de Mariposa.
The French horsewoman came out on top after a thrilling head to head with her fellow team-mate Simon Delestre who had to settle for second place with Hermes Ryan.
Swedish rider Rolf-Goran Bengtsson with Casall Ask was also faultless to take the final podium slot while following behind in fourth we find Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum.
Italy’s hopes passed through Emanuele Gaudiano and the Azzurri rider came a respectable 13th place after 5 penalties.

After the latest leg of the tour, Christian Ahlmann is in first place with 97 points followed by John Whitaker on 85 while there is good Equestrian World for Italian fans with Gaudiano in third with 65 points.
