A new and spectacular Longines Global Champions Tour season is on the way and in April the splendid Miami Beach will be the setting for the opening leg of the 2015 tour. It begins on the 2nd of April and runs through to the 4th and this year’s edition will be the tenth GCT. Several top show-jumping stars have already confirmed their presence such as the home favourites Beezie Madden and McLain Ward, along with Canada’s Eric Lamaze as well as other well-known US riders such as Kent Farrington, Jessica Springsteen and the talented Katie Dinan. From Europe, Gerco Schroder has confirmed his attendance along with Kevin Staut, Simon Delestre and Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum and not to mention the number 1 in the Longines ranking list Scott Brash. Entrance is free for those who are interested in wanting to follow the competition while from a touristic point of view Miami Beach needs little introduction and is well known above all for its modern architecture and Art Dèco buildings. The city offers a lively atmosphere and also comes to life at night with plentiful bars. Better known perhaps as a destination where many TV series were filmed (Miami Vice, C.S.I. Miami) and films (Scarface, There’s Something About Mary), Miami Beach is gearing up to host one of the top show-jumping events: the Longines Global Champions Tour. source: press release Longines Global Champions Tour
