Lorenzo De Luca wins for Italy at CSI5 * Knokke Hippique in Belgium

From Belgium comes the Equestrian World of an Italian triumph yesterday during the CSI5 * Knokke Hippique, with Lorenzo De Luca, who won the time trial over1.45m riding Balou de coeur Joye (Balou du Rouet), the Oldenburg stallion 2006.
Completing the podium of this competition was the Colombian Daniel Bluman, runner-up with Conconcreto Believe and the Swedish rider Jonna Ekberg, in third place on Freestyler.
Another French victory after those of Julien Epaillard on the opening day, this time with Philippe Rozier, who gained first position in the 1.50m timed qualifying for the GP, riding Rahotep de Toscane.
Runner-up was Penelope Leprevost on Nice Stephanie, while in third place we find the Dutchman Harrie Smolders on Regina Z.
In the team competition, the Prijs Sandro Venus vd. Mars, has established a women’s team composed of young riders: the Belgian Gudrun Patteet with Vici R and Britain’s Jessica Mendoza Ramiro de Belle Vue.
Second place were Dutchman Marc Houtzager with Sterrehof’s Bylou and Steve Guerdat with Albfuehren’s Memphis, in third place instead the pair of Pieter Devos (with Equipharma Dax van’Dabdijhoeve) and Simon Delestre of Chesall.

Today at Knokke Hippique are the final for horses aged 7 and 8 years, the high jumps over 1.50m two rounds of the small jumps in the GP for 1.45m.
