Lucia Vizzini expalins Loro Piana Quinta Roo retirement decision

After the announcement that Lucia Vizzini was retiring Loro Piana Quinta Roo, which appeared on her facebook page a few days ago, we contacted the rider to find out what the future held for the horse.
The rider decided to take the decision as she had noticed a decline in fitness from the mount despite recent good results in the CSI2*. Lucia said: “It was not 100 per cent and I did not want to create any problems.“
As for the future of Quinta Roo it definitely be used in a breeding farm owned by the Belgian Philippe Le Jeune and will be covered by Vigo d’ Arsouilles which was a conscious decision carried out by the rider.
