Milan Winter Show 2016 November 25-27
The countdown to the Milan Winter Show Milan, a three-star international jumping competition in its third edition, staged at the MVR Pala Show Jumpers Vermezzo (Milan), 25, 26 and 27 November, has begun.
The event, conceived by Barbara Morali & C – owner of the Vermezzo sports center – will be one of the closing events of the Italian season with a major prize pool of € 61,800 which will be dedicated to the “Grand Prix“ of Sunday, November 27th.
There are many foreign riders who have submitted the request to participate as have many Italian athletes, who are awaiting confirmation from the National Federation who will formalize the attendance in the coming days.
Among the foreign confirmations include Swiss champion Martin Fuchs and Pius Schwizer, the German Hans-Dieter Dreher, Colombian Carlos Lopez, the young Egyptian Abdel Said and Argentina’s Jose Larocca.
In this edition will be ample space dedicated to female competitors, with Matilde Borromeo and Jane Richards Philips captain of the female riders.
Friday, November 25, International Day Against Violence Against Women, the Milan Winter Show will also host a charity dinner whose proceeds will go to the UN fund to combat gender violence.
