Montefalco valid for Gothenburg

“Le Lame International- Sagrantino Tour” will held over two weeks (CSI2* 18/21 e CSI3* 23/28 August) with the Grand Prix on 28 August now a qualifier for the  FEI European Jumping Championships 2017 (Gothenburg, Sweden).
The Equestrian World was greeted with enthusiasm by the patron of Horses Le Lame, Giovanni Zampolini:  “The FEI has accepted our request to hold a three-star event valid for European qualification. It  is matter of pride for us to contribute to the growth of Italian riders and we hope to bring them a little luck in obtaining this European passport.“
Therefore the Montefalco organizing committee celebrates the second edition of its international show jumping horse show, going from strength to strength to enter in the FEI list for the “Outdoor qualifying events“, next to famous shows such as Wellington (Florida ), Oliva (Spain), Geesteren (Netherlands) and Mannheim (Germany).
Show director Denis Monticolo said: “It is a recognition which highlights the reliability of this organizing committee, whose first core value is the family. From Giovanni and his wife, to his close circle of three children, each of them is engaged seriously in the organization of events and in the reception of participants. The passion and the reliability of a whole family makes a difference in this sport and it was this family identity that drove me to accept the role of show director. “
Denis Monticolo is a highly-respected show director and amongst his events will be the Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show, to be held in June in Saint Tropez.
He added: “Enthusiasm is everything and it is with this feeling Le Lame International is an event that will grow and strengthen, improving from year to year to consolidate the already beautiful facility that bears its name.“
The event program is not yet available, but what is certain is that the route of the Grand Prix will follow the guidelines that the EIF submit to international horse competitions qualifying for the European Championship. It will therefore be an exciting sporting spectacle, ready to welcome the best Azzurri pairs and those from across the border.
