The applause has hardly died down for Lorenzo Caffi after his win at the Lorenz Cat XXIX edition for five-year-olds than he will be preparing for Saturday evening’s meeting in the Spa Grand Prix Trot for three-year-olds that takes place over a distance of 2040 metres and has some of the biggest names in Italy competing. Marlon By Pass won the race in 1.41.1 at the San Siro last year in a record time and that could fall on Saturday evening to Nad Al Sheba who set the record last June. It has recorded nine wins and a second place and once again will have Davide Nuti taking charge. Other contenders include Vayla di Vico and Naltrastoria Rex with Marcellino Di Nicola while Andreghetti and Nando Font are ready to forget the City of Naples in what promises to be a gripping race.
