
Nations Cup, Bratislava: Germany triumph in Slovakia

Slovakia played host to the latest stage of the CSIO3* FEI Nations Cup in Bratislava which saw an experimental Germany team come out on top.
Joerg Oppermann on Che Guevara 17, Thomas Kleis with For Success, Lawrence Green on Arrivederci 7 and Heiko Schmidt on Chap 47 finished the competition with just 4 penalties between them.
Switzerland came in second place with 8 penalties and with the following riders: Martin Fuchs on PSG Future, Evelyne Bussmann with Oceane de la Taille CH, Alain Jufer on Wiveau M and Werner Muff with Pollendr.
The bronze medal meanwhile went to Canada led by Jill Henselwood who fielded the following riders: Jordan MacPherson on Piccobello du Val de Geer, Jaclyn Duff on Pater Noster, Elizabeth Gingras with Zilversprings and Jill Henselwood on Quidam Blue. The aforementioned riders collected a total of 11 faults. The rest of the teams finished as follows:
4th USA 20 penalties
5th Brazil and Slovakia 21 penalties
7th Austria 24 penalties
8th Czech Republic 29 penalties
9th Turkey 15 penalties (1st round)
10th France 17 penalties (1st round)
11th Finland 37 penalties (1st round)
12th Hungary 50 penalties (1st round)
13th Slovenia ELIMINATED.
