Nations Cup: small-final cancelled due to bad weather

Heavy rain has seen the small-final of the FEI Nations Cup in Barcelona cancelled and it isn’t the first time lately that bad weather has wreaked havoc after the Rome leg of the LGCT was also hampered because of heavy rain.
The organisers in Barcelona were left no choice however but to cancel the event, putting the safety of the horse’s first in what was an impracticable surface. The decision will have knock-on effects for the schedule of the 2017 European Division 1 and 2.
Looking ahead, and weather permitting, today’s schedule will go ahead as planned.
