Netherlands gets ready for KWPN Stallion Show

The Netherlands is making preparations for one of the most important breeding events of the year, the KWPN Stallion Show to be held from 1 to 4 February at the arena the Brabanthallen in ‘s-Hertongebosch and where the best KWPN stallions will be displayed.
Stallions selected for dressage will perform in the Isah Stallion Competition dressage, while the jumpers will be put on display in the Blom Stallion Competitions jumping.
With two victories the big favorite is Highway M TN (Eldorado van de Zeshoek), grandson of the legendary Z Chellano the maternal line, bred by Peter Verdellen. It is the overall leader with 73 points, and the field will be presented by Patrick van der Schans.
With only two points behind Hotspot (Hors la Loi II), bred by the Dingen family will be in the event under Mathijs van Asten orders, but the difference in ranking is also minimal among the other contenders, with Hermantico (Comme Il Faut), the defending champion Grandorado TN (Eldorado van de Zeshoek), the champion from the Isah Cup Global Express (Orient Express) all closing in. Another dangerous opponent is Florian (Zirocco Blue VDL) that riden by Albert Zoer was the author of a great victory in Zuidbroek that led him to share 52 points in the standings.
In the Dressage the big favorite after the Zuitbroek victory, is Hometown (Apache) with the expert Diederik van Silfhout, great attention to the son of Totilas, Trafalgar, presented by Marieke van der Putten which along with Hometown leads the provisional standings of the category L with 254 points.
Daily Diamond (Daily Dream) is a short distance from the two leaders, to its later Henkie to be presented by Adelinde Cornelissen and another son of Totilas, the leader of the category M standings with 267 points Glock’s Toto Jr mounted by Marieke van der Putten .
Adelinde Cornelissen will also present another son of Totilas, Governor.
Once the qualification test of the KWPN Stallion Competition final is over the KWPN Stallion Show, jumpers for the title will be decided on February 2 while specialists take to the dressage rectangle on Friday, February 3rd.
