Nick Skelton wins top award at FEI Awards in Tokyo.
Nick Skelton won the top prize for best athlete at the prestigious FEI Awards in Tokyo. On star-studded evening the Britain’s show jumping Olympic gold medallist from London and most recently at Rio walked away with the big prize. His groom Mark Beever, was awarded the best groom prize.German Sonke Rothenberger won Longines Rising Star Award for 14 to 21 year olds. She won bronze at the Europeans in Arezzo in 2014, and in Rio de Janeiro was the youngest rider with her mount Cosmo.Fei Against All Odds, went to the Brazilian Rodolpho Riskalla for the for the Paralympic for team.
