Olympic qualification on offer at Badminton
The fourth stage of the FEI Classics is about to start. The Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials is the big event this week and counts as qualification for the Olympic Games in Rio this summer.
It is a chance for many riders to make to the Olympics this week in Badmington, Great Britain, where the likes of Mark Todd from New Zealand, his teammate Blyth Tait, the American David O’Connor and Leslie Law from Britain will be competing.
Around 80 horses will be competing throughout the long weekend, which starts tomorrow with the dressage at 9am. Italy will be represented by Vittoria Panizzon with Borough Pennyz and Giovanni Ugolotti with Oplitas.
