Paolo Zuvadelli triumphs at the CSIO San Marino.
Paolo Adamo Zuvadelli and his Belgian gelding Walestro van het Bloemenhof have won the AC Hotel Prize against the clock over 1.40m at the CSIO San Marino.
Commenting on the win and his mount, Zuvadelli said: “It’s my first competition at Arezzo with him, he is my horse for these battles. Together, we won bronze at the Italian Championships last year. He is recovering and my aim is to jump again at the highest levels. He is 16, but has great abilities. I have already been riding with him for 3 years and it is always brilliant to compete with him.”
Giovanni Consorti and Canterino S.G made it a 1-2 finish for the Azzurri while the final podium slot went to Denmark’s Emil Hallundbaek with Dakar. 4th, 5th and 6th place though were all taken by the home riders with the current Italian champion Giulia Martinengo Marquet and Fixdesign Pop Lady d’Elle followed by Filippo Marco Bologni with Fixdesign Amerigo and Emanuele Bianchi with Dingo de Amoranda.
Rounding out the top-ten were Cian O’Connor and Gloria van Zuuthoeve, Filippo Moyersoen and Dogane, Nicolas Toro with D’Amour and Charlotte Mortasino with Tiny Toon Semilly.
