Toscana Endurance Lifestyle test for the FEI World Equestrian Games 2018

Two of the most important sport events just 46 days away from each other.
Due of all this Pisa becomes a test for the highly anticipated Weg.
Angela Origgi informs that “the actual italian long list is composed by ten riders of federal interest in view of the World Championship, but only five will participate in Tryon. Meanwhile, four of them, with different horses than those identified for the long list of the World Championships, will participate in the H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Italy Endurance Festival, scheduled in the Toscana Endurance Lifestyle
First among all partecipants is Costanza Laliscia, who will compete in the CEI2* YJ120 km with Rok, an anglo-arabian sixteen years old horse with whom she won the Italian Championship U21 this year, bringing so her contribution to the Italian team to win the silver medal on the European Championship in Bruxelles 2017.
Carolina Tavassoli Asli is also part of the Italian quartet, she will race in the CEI2* 120 Km with Ambra D’Olt, a grey mare of 8 years old. At the start of the CEI2* in San Rossore Chiara
Marrama will be present with Magia Antica, a 8 years old mare raised in Lazio by the defunct
Colonel Giulio Serafini.
The last of the four protagonists in the CEI2* 120 Km is Daniele Serioli. He will ride Selenia: an 8 years old bay, which is preparing to face its second 120 kilometers and its first challenge at the highest level.
Costanza Laliscia revealed the importance of the athletic preparation of both: horses and riders. “We have to train the horses and train ourselves (to run, bike, gym, ndr), because having breath and strength is essential at this level. Especially in the H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Italy Endurance Festival we can test our physical and mental condition.
The third edition of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Italy Endurance Festival will host 324 riders from 33 nations. Italy is ready to take the field trying to win the gold medal team, that is missing since the 2005, and why not, taking over
the individual one best position.
The federal technician Origgi declared “Pisa is an unique place: for the characteristics of the race and for the location –one of the best in the world-. The beauty of San Rossore and the cleverness of the organizers give to Italy and Italian riders the possibility to train themselves in the best way in order to face World Championships.
The four riders that will take part at the San Rossore competition are among the best of Italians Endurance riders, and they will participate also in vision and preparation of the FEI Award European Endurance Championship scheduled next year in Euston Park, an event characterized by a flat andfast layout, similar to the Migliarino one, unique compared to the usual Italian routes.
