Polo Club Argentario big event boost

The second edition of the Polo Grande Slam Coppa Italia FISE-Trofeo SNAI starts today and runs through to August 9th in the splendid surroundings of mount Argentario at the polo club of the same name, owned by the Galantino family, organisers of the event with FISE.The top appointment of Italian polo will be presented tomorrow (Friday, July 31st) on the second day of competition with a press conference at the Polo Club Argentario.This year 13 teams will partecipate, an Italian record, with players, both men and women, arriving from all over the globe, from USA and Argentina to Switzerland.Not only sport on show but also the essential nightlife to support the event, from the inaugural cocktails, to Argentie asado (a South American barbecue) and an evening’s music with singer/songwriter Erminio Sinni. Friday, August 7th will be dedicated to the cabaret of Roberto Ciufoli, the first Italian polo-playing comedian. Ciufoli is also captain of the SNAI team, made up of a South African and two Argentines.The big final will be played on Sunday, August 9th, with trophy awarded by Ciufoli himself.
