Reining: Lendi crowned world champion

Fantastic Equestrian World from the reining discipline as Italy’s Gennaro Lendi has claimed the World Championship in Givrins Switzerland. The Italian reiner was in fine form and took the spoils with a score of 222.0 with Yankee Gun in a closely fought final.
Fellow Italian Guglielmo Fontana can also be pleased with his performance and came 8th with At Andrewood while European Champion Giovanni Masi de Vargas was 14th.
The battle for the final podium finishes was also a close one, and following a play-off, Germany’s Grischa Ludwig took second spot ahead of Austria’s Mantl Tina Kuenstner.
