Results round-up from LGCT Rome

Here is the latest Equestrian World and updates from the CSI5* Longines Global Champions Tour which is taking place in the eternal city of Rome.
The opening competition went to Holland’s Maikel Van der Vleuten with VDL Groep Quatro who afterwards expressed his satisfaction with the result and also praised his performer on its jumping.
Simon Delestre on the other hand took the spoils in the big event of the day (with jump-off) with Chesall Zimequest.
Commenting in the wake of his victory, the French star said he was delighted to see his mount put in another impressive performance.
Italy’s Piergiorgio Bucci gave the home fans something to cheer about too by coming fifth and was the Azzurri’s highest ranked finisher.
