Road to Lanaken begins next month

Between September 1-3, the Horse Le Lame Sporting Club in Montefalco will be staging the Mipaaf tour for young Italian horses (4,5,6 and 7 years of age) as well as the selection for foreign horses (5,6 and 7 years of age) for the finals of the World Young Horses in Lanaken. The latter event is around the corner and will be staged between September 19-24. The 5, 6 and 7-year selection will be open only to young foreign horses. The team for Lanaken, which will be selected by coach Marco Porro, will take place over three days for  5, 6 and 7 years, specially planned with heights and tracks agreed between the Young Horses’ Horses Department and the Director of Campo dell ‘Elliot Travagliati’ Horse Le Sporting Club Lames.
The riders who want to be watched  by coach Porro will have to report it to the secretary before the start of the race.At the end of the second selection event, the first was held in San Giovanni in Marignano during the CSIYH from 7 to 13 August, the six riders will be announced (two by age group) who will participate in the Finals at Lanaken from 19 to 24 September.The Young Horses Department along with Fise Management decided to make the selection categories for foreign horses for Lanaken in Montefalco, qualifying for the Italian Young Horse Championships that will take place in the first week of October at Le Sappi Nuovo Centro Horse Racing Cervese Asd (Cervia).
The qualifications for the final of the Italian Championship for Young Horses will have 5, 6 and 7 year categories of Foreign Horses Selection for Lanaken, as set out in the “Rules of Technical Growth Circuit Board 2017 pag. 13, Qualifying for the Championship, Top Stages “:- For subjects of 5 years, there are obstacles and time trials;
– For subjects of 6 and 7 years with up to 4 obstacles and time penalty.
