Roger-Yves Bost wins the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi

Three races with great technique and precision meant that Franch champion Roger Yves Bost was awarded the difficult and prestigious Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi, a two round race with obstacle height of 1.60m. Along with his faithful companion Ideal de la Loge, they finished with a Jump-off and the fastest time: 41.14, just under a second faster than Khaled Al Ei on Presley Boy (0/0/0; 42.08). In third followed Brazilian Alvaro De Miranda, on AD Ashleigh Drossel Dan (0/0/0; 42.20). Even with two errors in the first round, female rider Edwina Alexander, with 238 points, is the champion of the 2011 edition of the Global Tour, taking home 300,000 Euro as winner. German Ludger Beerbaum was just behind, with 218.50 while third place on the podium was won by Alvaro De Miranda.
