Rome pays tribute to the D’Inzeo Brothers Piero and Raimondo.

Rome and the whole of Italy have paid tribute today to two of its most famous equestrian figures by naming a street after Piero and Raimondo D’Inzeo.
The inauguration in recognition of the two champions’ achievements took place on Friday morning in the Italian capital.
Several high-profile figures were on hand for the inauguration ceremony, including Italian Olympic Association President Giovanni Malagò and the Italian Equestrian Federation President Vittorio Orlandi who was also a former team-mate to the D’Inzeo brothers.
A fitting tribute then to two figures that raised the profile of Italian show-jumping across the world and in Italy, leaving their mark in terms of sporting and cultural achievements which deserve to be remembered and preserved.
