Sándor Szász jumped to victory at Magna Racino

The first week of the Spring Tour 2018 came to close at Magna Racino in Ebreicshdorf, Austria. The famous venue will host several events later this month, starting from the CSI2* of the second week of the Tour on May 16th and the Racino Festival from May 31st to mid June.
Hungarian champion Sàndor Szàsz claimed the win in the Magna Racino Grand Prix, defeating the competition of three horse-and-rider combinations coming to the jump-off.
Second placed was Nadia Abdul Aziz Taryam from United Arab Emirates, followed by German rider Thomas Holz. He was the first at the jump-off atop of 9-year-old Wesfahlen Clooney R and finished with 4 penalties in a time of 42.56 seconds.
Just after him, it was up to the Hungarian with Lorenzo 354 (Landprinz), who completed a clear round in 50.79 seconds.
No faults also for the second placed Abdul Aziz Taryam on Cortado, who ended in 56.21 seconds.
This was the highlight of the day at Magna Racino, but the venue also hosted several other competitions dedicated to the youngesters. Among these, the European Youngster Cup was won by Germany’s Laureen Budde atop of Gosbodino 2 (Granni), followed by second-placed Korean Manjun Kwon on Chester van’T Goor Z and Third-placed Iran’s Ariana Ravanbakhsh with SIEC Cros.
