Second day of races in Cameri for the AUDI HORSE SHOW
Sunday 22nd May saw the Cascina Bornago take place at the Conti Torriani in Cameri (NO), the second of the two days of equestrian competitions provided by the AUDI Horse Show, organized by the Associazione Briglie Sciolte in partnership with the Società Milanese for the Caccia a Cavallo. A beautiful sunny day accompanied the 50 male and female riders in total and their fabulous horses. Six races, among them timed individual and also group ones were conducted on the race track. Caserma Perrucchetti of Milan and the school of Applicazione Militare of Turin competed. The leader of the day was without question Alessandro Berlingieri from Marche who won 3 of the 6 races on Hawksham. The final race was associated with the Coppa Audi and involved a track covering a distance of 8,000 metres; the only race at an international level that warranted such length. In this magnificent rural setting, Audi presented some of their most prestigious vehicles in an impressive parade. On show were some of the newest designs from the company with four rings. In the evening on the 25th May the AUDI Horse Show will celebrate the closing of the event with an elegant Gala at the beautiful Villa D’Este in Cernobbio, a distinctive place considered one of the most beautiful Italian homes of the 16th Century and one of the world’s most beautiful hotels.
