Show Jumping: The CSIO Junior-Young Rider for Children and Ponies.
On the beautiful grassy fields of Abano, in Villa Bassi Rathgeba the CSIO Junior Young Rider contest got underway.
The beauty of the venue is enhanced by the vicinity to the fascinating Villa Bassi Ratgheb, a 16th century building covered in frescos, augmented by stucco wall coatings from the 18th century.The 115 category was won by Chiara Bernot, in the saddle of Sheridan’s Lad, whilst Giulio Carpignani on It’s show time finished second and Alice Lazzarini riding Bayron finished third.
In the 120 section it was Mateoa Bernaldez from Spain who claimed victory riding the Sparking Golden Lady, Jessica du Puits. The Children category was won by French rider Matias Alvaro riding Elitloppet, whilst Filippo Corsini, fom Italy, on Claretta Bella finished runner-up.
In the Children’s 120 category Gonzalo Anon Suarez and his mount Andor took top spot, with Giuseppe Carrabotta on Royal Group Orsanigo di Nixima finished second and Francesca Frigerio Bonvicino riding Corinessa completed the podium.
