The fans were packed into the stands and made their presence felt last night for the Longines Masters in Paris.
Up first for spectators was the Longines Speed Challenge, won by Grégory Wathelet after a superb performance from the Belgian with Egano van het Slogenhof.
This year’s competition introduced a new formula, and for every barrier knocked down there was a 2 second penalty, while the circuit design was the exact same one as previous competitions in Los Angeles and Hong Kong.
Having prior knowledge of the circuit and the obstacles allowed riders to put their foot on the accelerator all the way round the course making for a great spectacle in the French capital.
