Spring fair a major highlight
The Italian national spring horse fair is now in its tenth year and was the brainchild of Agricultural faculty of the Tuscia university. The project entitled “the arts and earth festival“ was created to unite the local environment with that of its artistic counterpart.Twenty-four hectares of prepared ground; six hundred horses from all over Italy, 3,000 visitors; over one hundred exhibitors, all with the common goal of encourging everyone to see the world in a different way.Agriculture played a central role with a ambitious exhibition of the impressive dressage horses under the guidance of Giorgio Caponetti, the event’s artistic director. There was also carting, galloping and an equestrian cabaret to delight those attending. After the success of this year’s event, 2010 promises to be even more exciting.
