After the cross-country trial at the European Championships in Strzegom, it is Germany’s Ingrid Klimke leading the way in the provisional individual standings. The German horsewoman is in action with Horseware Hale Bob.
In second spot we find Klimke’s fellow German Michael Jung (competing with FischerRocana FST) while the final podium slot is currently in the hands of Sara Algotsson Ostholt of Sweden with Reality 39.
In the team event meanwhile, leading the way are Great Britain thanks to the performances of Kristina Cook, Nicola Wilson and Rosalind Canter. Germany are trailing behind in second while there is a surprise contender in third place in the form of Sweden.
In action for the Scandinavians are the likes of Sara Algotsson Ostholt and Ludwig Svennerstal. Italy are just outside the podium places in fourth courtesy of the displays of Arianna Schivo, Pietro Sandei and Vittoria Panizzon.http://www.strzegom2017.pl/en/
