The athletes list for british team in Herning 2013

Has been announced on the officiale website of the british showjumping the athletes list for the European Championships in Herning 2013.
Scott Brash and Hello Sanctos
Michael Whitaker and Viking V
Robert Smith and Voila IV
Ben Maher and Cella
Stand out from the absence of the fresh winners of the CHIO Aachen Nick Skelton and Big Star, the rider in according to the owners Gary and Beverly Widdowson and the team coach Rob Hoeckstra to forfait the European Championships to preserve the top jumper for the Olympic Games  2016 in Rio de Janeiro.
The team has been defined from the coatch Hoeckstra very exciting and despite the absence of the champion Nick Skelton and Big Star the selection is of top level and considering the good form of the athletes in this moment could be the most quoted antagonist for the impressive german team.
No new faces in this team for the riders but different horses will debut in a championship this year in Herning, for example the mare of Robert Smith Voila IV, a jumper on which the rider has bet strongly and  that is honored to prove herself for Great Britain, the same is for Michael Whitaker and his talented Viking V that he consider an exceptional horse.
Double satisfaction for William Funnell that is rider and breeder of Billy Congo, the champion self produced at home.
