Wellington, Fla. – Phelps Media Group is pleased to announce the addition of the Desert International Horse Park to its clientele roster, which already features some of the most important equestrian events in the United States. The Desert International Horse Park joins the ranks of The Great Lakes Equestrian Festival, Nilforushan EquiSports Events, Kentucky Horse Show LLC, and the Devon Horse Show working with Phelps equestrian marketing and public relations agency.

The Desert International Horse Park (DIHP), located outside of Palm Springs, California, is the crown jewel of winter equestrian sport on the West Coast. In spite of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the DHIP had a record-breaking 2020/2021 season presenting high-level competition to riders from hunter/jumper, equitation and dressage disciplines.

The fall schedule now includes hosting two Major League Show Jumping Tour events. DIHP will host an FEI CSI3* in November as part of the National Sunshine Series and two FEI CSI5* events in December during the two weeks of the Desert Holiday Series. The two events – which also include FEI CSI2* offerings – will showcase an innovative and exciting FEI 5* team competition that features some of the best riders in North America and beyond. The winter series will again include five weeks of FEI competition, two weeks of WCHR, and the second year of the $100,000 West Coast Hunter Spectacular.
