
The Global Champions Tour lands in Shanghai

Important appointment in Shanghai this week as the Global Champions Tour stops off for the third consecutive year.
Last year the GP was won by Dutch rider Harrie Smolders on the back of Regina Z and this year promises to be just as exciting with 17 nations set to compete. There will be plenty of German riders and one of those will be Ludger Beerbaum who will be riding Chaman and Colestus. Katharina Offel will be competing in her first CSI 5* of the season with Sky Fly SB and Christian Ahlmann will be riding with Colorit and Cornado II. China will be represented by Zhiwen Zhao and Meimei Zhu with horses Pommeau du Heup and Heraldo S respectively.
Emanuele Gaudiano will be flying the Italian flag with Guess 6 and Caspar 232 following the excellent performance in the CSI 5* of Miami at the start of April. Holland will have Gerco Schröder and his Glock’s Cognac Champblanc N.O.P. and Glock’s Zaranza while Maikel van der Vleuten will turn up with VDL Groep Quatro and VDL Groep Verdi TN N.O.P.
Jessica Springsteen will be taking on the event with Vindicat W for the US. Switzerland will have Pius Schwizer on Tarioso Manciais, Belgium have Olivier Philippaerts on H&M Henna de Goedereede and H&M Legend Of Love, Gregory Wathelet with Eldorado van het Vijverhof and Oh d’Eole. France will be represented by just one rider, Stardust Quinhon and Chesall*Zimequest
