
Top riders head to World Cup event in Zurich

After Leipzig we move immediately to the next stage of the World Cup, which will be hosted this week at the CSI5* in Zurich.
Some of the best riders are still in the race to qualify for the finals in Las Vegas, while others like the leaders Steve Guerdat and Kevin Staut have the ticket already in their pockets.
Eighteen riders will be allowed on the flight from Europe that will bring the best Europeans to Las Vegas, including those who have not yet obtained the qualification including Marcus Ehning who would need to take a victory.
The top ten will be in Zurich including leader Scott Brash, the No. 2 Ludger Beerbaum and compatriots Marcus Ehning and Daniel Deusser in 3rd and 4th place followed by the 5th ranked Kent Farrington and 6th Kevin Staut.
Also present are the 7th ranked McLain Ward, the Swede Rolf-Goran 8th Bengtsson, the 9th ranked Patrice Delaveau and top rider in 10th Penelope Leprevost.
For Italy the only representative in the field will be Luca Maria Moneta, who in the last round held in Leipzig achieved a considerable result gaining a major 3rd place in the World Cup GP.
