Toscana Tour: results round-up
Swedish rider Emma Emanuelsson rode to victory on her grey gelding Titan (Camaro) in the Gold Tour GP at the Toscana Tour. The rider recorded the fastest time in the two-round trial from 1.50m ahead of German rider Jana Wargers with Cornet’s Dream (Cornet Obolensky) who was just 5 tenths of a second behind. Portuguese rider Mario Wilson Fernandes on Zito do Belmonte (Gedeon d’Herbage) came in third. The rest of the top-ten was made up as follows:

However, there was better Equestrian World for Italy in the final of the Silver Tour which was won by Emanuele Bianchi with Cupido Z (Chellano Z), the 12 year-old grey gelding who is owned by the Junior European Champion. 16 pairs made it through to the final jump-off with Bianchi one of 9 riders to come through with a clean run. There were 5 Italian riders in addition to Bianchi in the top-10. Greek rider Monika Martini with Cleopatra IV came in second followed by Emilio Bicocchi on Rodgerio (Russel). The rest of the top-ten was made up as indicated below:

It’s also worth mentioning another victory from Giampiero Garofalo with Cipriano (Caretino) after a head to head battle with Luca Maria Moneta with Quarius (Quebec) in the 1.35m Gold Tour trial with jump-off. The rider from the Campania region in Italy beat Moneta thanks to a faster time of 35.06 compared to Moneta’s 36.55. Swiss rider Adrian Schmid on Krambouli V Schl’hof CH (Karondo) came in third place. Moneta also came second in the trial from 1.35m in the Silver Tour with Laude DC, just behind the British rider Joseph Clayton on Bonita Z.
