It will undoubtedly be hard for Italy in the Irish leg of Meydan FEI World Cup CSIO5* being held in Dublin. The Italian riders will give their all but a hefty challenge awaits. The opening day’s events failed to register anything important except for Piergiorgio Bucci’s clear run on Corradio O.H. in the 1.40m Table A against the clock won by home rider Capt. Shane Carey on River Foyle with 0 in 57.84. The Italians were also playing the chasing game in the 1.40m Table C and the 1.50m mixed Table A with jump-off, which was won by Irish rider Darragh Kerins on Night Train.Let’s hope the first day served to give the Italian horses a run out ahead of today’s competitions.
