USA and Europe prepare to lock horns in Riders Masters Cup

A new and exciting event has been added to the international circuit following the creation of the Riders Masters Cup presented by EEM and EEF (European Equestrian Federation).
This highly anticipated new team event will begin on December 2nd and will see the United States and Europe go head to head.
The first stage of the big event will be played out in occasion of the Paris Longines Masters while the second leg will be taking place on April 28 next year at the New York Longines Masters.
USA and Europe are the two superpowers of equestrian sports and in all the major international competitions since 1912 – taking into account the likes of the Olympics – the duo have afforded only 13 titles to the rest of the world.
And for the first time the two giants of the sport will put their healthy rivalry to the test. Christophe Ameeuw and his EEM are always on the look out for innovative ideas and it is hoped this will launch the sport into the international limelight.
For the first edition of the event, team USA will be in the hands of Robert Ridland while team Europe will be in the hands of Philippe Guerdat.
