Veterinary alert at Werth stables

In recent weeks Germany has been on a veterinary alert after the cases of equine herpes registered at the end of February in Luhmulen, in the Lower Saxony region, and attention has turned to the Westphalia region.
Fortunately, there is nothing at all alarming, but very important stable was affect, that of the European dressage champion Isabell Werth.
Werth, who should have participated in Dortmund’s important international event this weekend, has decided to cancel her participation to avoid the risk of contagion even if the situation is under control and her horses are not showing any worrisome symptoms.
