
WEG dressage day one results put Britain on top

William – Fox Pitt on Chilli Morning led the way in the dressage with 75.00%, and the Briton was followed by reigning champion Michael Jung on Fischerrocana FST (72.89%), who is substituting Sam who has won all there is to win.
Third is another German Ingrid Klimke on another serious contender FRH Escafa JS (72.56%).

The Italians were led by Evelina Bertoli on Leitrim Orient Express in 24th (62.78%) and Giovanni Ugolotti on Stilo Contika in 34th place (60.00%).
Great Britain are ahead of Germany in the team event with 37.50 to 40.7 while New Zealand are third on 42.0 but have the highly-rated Mark Todd on Leonidas II and especially Andrew Nicholson on Nereo to go tomorrow.
Italy are in 12th place.
