Whitaker pips Ahlmann to Saint-Tropez GP.

The great John Whitaker has won the Grand Prix at the renowned CSI5* Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show in Saint-Tropez.
Whitaker was in action with Argento but had to deal with the stiff competition from Germany’s Christian Ahlmann who pushed all the way and registered a time of 36.26 seconds with Taloubet Z that looked good enough for the victory.
However, in the end it was the British rider that took the win after stopping the clock in an impressive 36.17 seconds, much to the delight of the crowd which has been vocal in its support of Whitaker. The final podium slot went to French star Simon Delestre with Qlassic Bois Margot.
