World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses : Kannan number one stallion in the world

The World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses has selected the top sires for 2014 and the number one jumping sire is the extraordinary stallion born in 1992 Kannan owned by the Stallion Company and the son of Voltaire/ Nimmerdor.
The money brought in was over 1,800,000 euros and the most celebrated of its offspring has been Steve Guerdat’s Nino des Buissonnets.
Other known names Pikachu de Muze in 2006 won the championship for young horses in Lanaken in the category for 6 years, Bridget who in 2011 won the Pan American Games, while Kismet with Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum has placed in Fei World Cup events, the other daughter of Kannan who is standing out is Bertram Allen’s Molly Malone V, who with this Irish mare won a World Cup event in Verona at his first participation, while also worth a mention are Plessis and Oh d’Eole.
In Germany alone Kannan has 64 offspring and has managed to overtake another super stallion Baloubet du Rouet who is down to 4th place while Cornet Obolensky, jumps six places to second. The podium is completed by Diamant de Semilly who has moved from fifth to third.
Good moves For Pleasure, Hearbreaker, Cardento, Contendro, Indoctro and Quidam de Revel who are also in the top ten.
